Hey I'm Katherine

About my family: My husband is a full time Pastor in Arizona. Together we have eight children ages 12, 11, 9, 7, 5, 4, 2 and we're expecting a newborn in August. Our home is full of life and there is never a dull moment.

What I do with my time: When I’m not cooking for my crew or homeschooling, I love to research! As I always say "I'd rather be educated than entertained." My favorite topics to study are Christian living, Biblical Archaeology and History, The Science of How Children Learn, Nutrition and Traditional Cooking just to name a few. I also enjoy graphic design and photography, and I use those skills often to serve our church by designing custom tracts and banners, as well as managing their social media.

How it all began: My husband and I met in 2010 when he was a Marine stationed in Washington State. I was 19 and he was 20! We married in February 2013. The Lord blessed us with our first child on Christmas Eve of the same year. Over the next ten years the babies just kept coming and God called my husband to preach and eventually take over the church we attended and served in.

Why Created This Communiy: When I first became a mom and Pastor's wife, I had no friend to guide me along the way (except Jesus!) I had to figure a lot out on my own. I created the blog to encourage women who are where I once was. To offer a place of encouragement, resources and community. My prayer is that you leave here feeling empowered with tools in your hands to confidently lead your family in the paths of righteousness.
